My Talkies is a dedicated digital platform built for Malayalam cinema — created to give KFCC member producers a structured, transparent way to release their films digitally, reach audiences, and earn from them on an ongoing basis.
It has been designed specifically for the needs of the Malayalam film industry, rather than as a generic aggregator platform.

First create and complete your Producer Profile. The process begins with KFCC and continues through My Talkies, where your profile is completed and verified.

Legal requirements that need your attentionThe Rights Holder Affidavit is mandatory for every film. A Producer Authorisation Letter is required whenever there is more than one Producer or Co-Producer.

Clear & Transparent Commercials
The key commercial details are kept clear and easy to review.
Starting Viewing Price — ₹15
The minimum price for a viewer to watch a Film on My Talkies is ₹15, inclusive of GST.
The final viewing price may be higher than ₹15 depending on various factors associated with the Film.
Producer Revenue Share — 50%
The Producer receives 50% of the total revenue generated from ticket sales for the Film.
Digital Rights Management (DRM)
DRM is an optional service available to Producers.
Selecting DRM involves an additional charge payable by the Producer.
The applicable DRM charge will be clearly displayed during the Film submission process before the Producer selects the service.
DRM charges may vary from Film to Film and are calculated based on factors such as the duration of the Film.
Licensing & Distribution Opportunities
Producers who wish to explore additional licensing and distribution opportunities for their Films can request this as a separate service through ABC FilmFactory.
Depending on the Film and available opportunities, this can include:
- OTT Licensing — opportunities with platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Sun NXT, SonyLIV, Netflix, JioStar and other relevant platforms.
- Television & Satellite Rights
- Airborne Rights — airlines and inflight entertainment platforms.
- Dubbing & Language Rights — other Indian and international languages.

FAQs
Keep these expectations in mind before entering the portal.
A CBFC Certificate is mandatory in most cases, but not required if the film is going direct-to-My Talkies. Confirm the final rule wording with the platform team before publishing.
Submit a signed Producer Authorisation Letter on production house letterhead, signed by all producers or rights holders, authorising one producer to act on behalf of all for the submission.
Pay-Per-View starts at ₹15 per film. My Talkies determines the final PPV price and the applicable Producer / My Talkies revenue share.
