ABC Film Factory – Curator Guidelines

Welcome Curators!

Thank you for joining ABC Film Factory. Your role is essential in ensuring quality, compliance, discoverability, and audience trust. These guidelines will help you understand your responsibilities, workflow, and best practices as a curator.

01. Role & Responsibilities

As a curator, your primary responsibility is to review films and their metadata to ensure they meet platform standards. This includes:

  • Watching Films Fully – View films from start to finish to assess content and context.
  • Metadata Verification – Check titles, descriptions, categories, age ratings, tags, and language fields.
  • Compliance Checks – Ensure films adhere to government regulations and ABC Film Factory policies.
  • Suggest Improvements – Recommend enhancements for discoverability (titles, thumbnails, categories, synopsis).
  • Flag Issues – Report violations, inappropriate content, or misleading information.
  • Endorse Films – Highlight standout films for promotion or special campaigns.
  • Assist with Content Strategy – Provide insights for curated campaigns or audience targeting.

02. Content Standards

All films must comply with legal, ethical, and platform standards:

  • No hate speech, discrimination, or offensive content
  • No pornography or explicit sexual content
  • No plagiarism or copyright violations
  • No illegal activities or content that promotes harm
  • Accurate metadata (titles, age ratings, categories, language)

Curators are not responsible for judging artistic merit, only compliance, clarity, and discoverability.
